Robotics is one of the more popular applications of Artificial Intelligence. According to Wikipedia, Robotics is defined as:
“ Robotics deals with the design, construction, operation, and use of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing.”
And the term Robot is defined as
“A robot is a machine—especially one programmable by a computer— capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically.[2]Robots can be guided by an external control device or the control may be embedded within.”- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robots
When we think of a robot, normally we imagine of a machine that would look like a human or the form of an animal.
However, it's not necessarily like that.
Last week I attended a three-day seminar-workshop on the basics of robotics. Although I have a background in Computer Engineering, it’s been decades since I dwelt into electronics and control systems. So I really had very little idea what to expect.

The seminar-workshop was only three days long. It was an introductory training for robotics.
In those three days, I recalled how difficult it was to make our projects in Computer Engineering. What took us months to finish, can now be done in an hour or two.
Interact in this edition of my cblog and find out the five things that I have learned from that seminar-workshop on robotics.
