Interestingly, the idea was to build a car that would not just be the ultimate expression of all Aston Martins with an extreme design and an unbeatable performance. Rather an architectural development of all the learning experience gathered over the years into one soaring model. So what were the parameters defined for this extreme car? The engineers were asked to design an engine that produced a challenging 700 hp. And when that was met, it was pegged to a higher 750 hp, accomplishing a mission that was earlier seemed impossible, but ended in the team emerging triumphant. The speed aimed for was 220 mph!
