In wake of the heightened competition in the sports cars segment, the iconic British brand, Aston Martin unleashed an aesthetically enhanced, exquisitely crafted and high-performing coupe - the V8 Vantage. Though historically, that name stood for the high-performing variants of its GT models, today, V8 Vantage is among the leanest, meanest and most agile member of Aston Martin's fleet. The 2-door, 2-seater hatchback coupe is also available as a convertible roadster and has been placed in the 'entry-level' category with a price tag of $117,000. With that, the car unveiled at the 2003 North American International Auto Show seems pretty serious in its focus to give a run for the money to competitors like Porsche 911 and other GT cars.
