The most and highly anticipated cricket league of all time , including blends of talents from around the globe would be seen from today in Pakistan Super League. Soon after India's success in inaugural edition of T20 worldcup in South Africa 2007 and starting of IPL in next year , many of my Indian friends were poking me by words that how much time it would take Pakistan to start its own league following footsteps of India. 

It was terrible to see that Pakistan didn't play a single test match in 2008 either at home or away. One could imagine particularly the likes of Yousaf , Younis didn't get a chance to showcase their talent at the premier format of cricket for one complete year. It was the best time to launch the PSL in country because of the fact that teams except Australia were keen to visit Pakistan and absence of Test matches could provide that vacant window to start league in country, but, our board missed that opportunity.
