Yet another update pointing out to the second season release date of the hit Japanese anime series, "Attack On Titan," surfaced this week. This time around, the person to confirm the details is the series director himself. Meanwhile, new reports indicate that the new installment will reveal more humans that are capable of transforming to Titans.
Citing the report from Yibada, the website stated that the series, which is based on the hit manga of the same name from Hajime Isayama, will follow the "manga policy" that requires "at least four arcs" published for the manga before the anime could move on for another season. Based on this information, series director Tetsuro Araki was quoted as saying that the anime might be released "on the second half of 2016."
Araki's statement came out as a more definitive clue than the previously reported outing dates from When Will and Crunchy Roll. Both publications made mention of a "sometime in 2016" release window.
Setting aside the release date, fans were also hankering for information as to what to expect when "Attack On Titan" returns.
The plot spoilers from VCPost.com said that the new season will pick up on the ongoing battle of the 104th Trainees Squad, which includes members like Mikasa Ackerman, Reiner Braun, Bertolt Hoover, Annie Leonhart, Eren Yeager, Jean Kirsten, Marco Bott, just to name a few.
The latest item circulating around the rumor mill, however, pointed out the discovery of more humans capable of transforming into the dreaded monsters. KPopStarz.com added that this situation will force the trainees, especially Eren, to face his own teammates in "a decisive battle."
Meanwhile, the earlier reported "Clash of Titans" arc will see the appearance of new breeds of Titans inside the wall. Adding more to the plate is the rumer cited by Yibada saying that Season 2 will also see an uprising against "a corrupt king who has been hindering the upcoming revolution."
