Audi’s groundbreaking and mammoth V12 TDI 12 cylinder engine, meant originally for the R10 TDI race car was also adopted for the Q7 V12 TDI concept unveiled at the 2007 Detroit Motor show. The Q7 V12 TDI has been dubbed as the most powerful diesel-powered passenger vehicle in its class due to the massive power (368 kW or 500 hp) and torque (757.56 lb-ft) of torque generated by its mammoth engine. This massive power is transferred to the tarmac by four giant 20-inch wheels, while scattering the speed equally across all four corners is implemented by clamping down on four carbon ceramic rotors. There are no shortcomings on the car’s aesthetic inclinations too as occupants can enjoy the sky whiz by from any seating position, thanks to the optional glass roof. Other notable design cues include prominent LED daytime running lights and a high-tech Aluminum chassis that accentuate the virility of the car over others. Priced above $185,000, this is one Audi that is sure to titillate the senses of the high and mighty.
