The Audi R8 V10 is a mid engine, two doors, super sports car sporting Audi’s trademark Quattro technology and the all wheel drive system. It was introduced by Audi in the year 2010. The Audi R8 was a technological marvel and Audi clearly did not want anything to go amiss in this vehicle. This is evident as the R8 was specially made by Quattro GmbH, a special subsidiary of Audi AG. Quattro GmbH was in charge of the design, technology and manufacturing of the vehicle since its early stages. The car is exclusively built at Neckarsulm, Germany, at Audi’s car production unit. The R8 was designed initially as an upgrade to the flag ship model TT. However, the TT was never meant to be phased out.
