Price and Availability
These are made and sold exclusively by AVON and are priced at £2 but are often on offer, they are currently half price for only £1 each. They come in 3 fragrances at the moment, Invisible protection, Tropical Burst and Light Bloom, and they also do one for men which believe it or not is called Avon on Duty for Men. The one I have is Tropical Burst.
Packaging
The packaging doesn't look like the photo on here anymore and comes in a more standard looking curved rollerball style. Mine also looks different to the new packaging but the new packaging is simple and white with a band of colour along the bottom signifying what scent it is. Mine has an orange band.
In Use
I had never actually smelt this product directly from the bottle before but I did for the sake of this review and it smells really strong, pretty much like tropical washing powder but luckily it is not that strong when you actually put it on. When you apply it the roller ball can scratch a little which is a bit annoying but also not uncommon for all deodorants of this type. The smell is nice and fresh when you put it on and smells clean, it is strong but not over powering. The scent lasts a reasonably long time as well.
But most importantly does it work?
The answer to that is simply Yes, I am lucky in that I don't get particularly smelly from exercise, or sweating due to hot weather but where I do have a problem is stress sweating, now I don't know why but if I get in a stressful situation I sweat quite a bit and it is not pleasant smelling. I work in a book makers and as you can imagine when money is involved tempers often flare causing my adrenaline levels to raise. For that reason I wear this everyday I am working. I put it on at the start of my sift and I don't need to re apply and I always go home smelly fine no matter how stressful the day has been. I have also never had any white marks or staining from this deodorant.
Overall
Overall this is a great inexpensive deodorant that really works and doesn't stain your clothes or irritate your skin. I would give this 4.5 stars if I could as it does scratch a bit on applying and the smell could be nicer but these are only nigaly things. As there are no half stars I will have to give it 4.
