For 4 days from August 12 to 15 every year, passionate Awa dance groups perform through the streets of Tokushima city. This Awa-Odori Folk Dance festival attracts over a million people every year.

Even if you do not visit during this period, you can still feel the atmosphere at the Awa Odori Kaikan Hall where 3 or 4 performances are held every day.
