IF you are not familiar with the Aksum obelisk found in Tigray region,Ethiopia,I will tell you the most amazing past human civilization ever....

AKSUM OBELISK

Aksum Obelisk may be similar to other types of obelisks in its component, stone, but the design imprints the height and past engineering skills makes it far more further than the other obelisks. It is believed that Aksum obelisk is erected before 1700 years with 24 meters of height by the empire of Axum.It is believed that there are a number of such obleisks erected beside each one but due to various natural disasters, most of the obelisks were fall down.

There is no exact answer for why the Axum dynasty built and erected this long obelisk, but it is thought that when the Aksum Kings were dead, each obelisk is erected above their dead body.
