Bangladesh lost its top order batsmen Imrul Kayes and Mominul Haque in their first innings on the second day of the first Test against South Africa at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Wednesday.
Tigers reached 80/2 at lunch in 30 overs in the first innings against the Proteas.
Opening partnership between Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes helped Bangladesh reach 46 runs with no lose.
S van Zyl and SR Harmer took one wicket each. Imrul was stumped down in a Zyl's ball while Harmer bowled Mominul Haque out at his 6 runs. As
Mominul missed right-arm offbreak of the Proteas spinner, the stroke knocked down the off stump.
Earlier, on Tuesday, the Proteas were all out for 248 in their first innings as debutant Mustafizur Rahman picked 4 wickets and Jubair took 3 wickets. South Africa captain Hashim Amla won the toss and elected to bat first in the opening Test of the two-Test series.
