I am not sure how it got its name but here in + Barbados we have a quaint little village called + Bathsheba. This village is located on the eastern side of the island in the parish of St. Joseph. This is one of my favourite spots to visit and is also a hit with the tourists.
If travelling from town it will take you about 45 mins to reach there as you pass through parishes of St. Michael and St. George before reaching there. +Bathsheba has two hotels in the area, plenty of beach houses to rent and it also is a fishing village.
Scores of persons descend daily to take in the fresh sea breezes, the natural ambiance of the + Atlantic Ocean and just to picnic and relax. A main feature of +Bathsheba is the boulders which are found in the sea. We don’t know how they got there and are so strategically placed but nonetheless, it’s an added attraction.
+Bathsheba also plays hosts to international persons who come to the + Soup Bowl as it is called as well to surf. The action is hot and +Bathsheba has conditions that are ideal.
