BCB Selectors in dilemma like never before

With India series already done and dusted, South Africa are the next hunt on the line for the Tigers. They are scheduled to land in Dhaka on 30th of June to encounter the home team in a two match T20 series, a three match one day series and a two match Test series. But ahead of that series, the Bangladeshi national selectors at the moment are in a sweet dilemma like never before.

It’s a kind of problem they are not very familiar with. With too many fit and available players and all are in good form, it will now be quite a tough task for them to pick up the best possible squad for the ensuing series against the Proteas.

“It’s good problem to have,” chief selector Faruk Ahmed was quoted as saying in the New Age. “Among the young players whoever given chance they did well. It raised the level of competition.”

“But we form a team considering few factors like wickets, opponents. This is why Arafat Sunny had to sit out in the first two matches against India despite doing reasonably well in the recent past.
