Between Christmas and New Year there will be a lot of drinking going on, and for most people it will be part of having fun. However there is a dark and dangerous side to being drunk and it can have serious consequences:

1. Around this time of year is when most A&E departments have to treat people for alcohol poisoning. Some people just don’t know when to stop.

2. When people are drunk there senses and ability to make decisions is impaired this could lead to the drunk person being taken advantage of.

3. When you are drunk it can lead a person to do something that they wouldn’t normally do, and when the morning comes they will be full of regret.
