Thursday the plumber finally came only to tell me the geyser was too big. After 4 days of waiting for the landlord to send a plumber when I could have gone to the office on Monday. After the plumber left I ventured to My Choices in Lakdikapoul to drop off a loan for one of the fellows. Bus ride there was easy found the office well. From Lakdikapoul to Begumpet was an epic fail by bus because I found a bus stop but it was the wrong one. After 30 minutes finally decided to take an auto only to find where the correct bus stop was. Enjoyed some waffles and ice cream when I got to Begumpet thanks to S who opened their house to me. After waffles we chilled out until we decided it was time for me to cook. We headed to the supermarket where I picked up ingredients for jollof rice, chapman and chicken stew. I improvised on the dishes which came out well but not great. S enjoyed it and I got to meet his Iranian friend who just got a new job. We made vodka chap man and enjoyed the night. I crashed the night in Begumpet and headed back to my place for a bit to grab my stuff before heading to a meetup that ended up being cancelled. Walked back to S’s place and enjoyed some good food with good company. I missed out on the IDEX party with Mumbai folks. Friday night got awkward when boundaries were overstepped and expectations weren’t met. Saturday went to the IDEX workshop held by Karthi which was awesome because it was a hands on design thinking workshop. I finally got to meet Austin and Lillian with Austin hung up on the fact that I skipped the party. After the workshop we went to Chutneys and then I headed to Begumpet. Due to atmosphere and general uneasiness that I had throughout the day I went back to Aparna Friday night even though I had kayaking in Secunderabad this morning. Also felt like an ass because I woke up early and had to go to a workshop so in process disturbed S' sleep so didn't want to repeat that for kayaking. Also was an idiot night before so felt its best to leave before I dig my grave even deeper since I have a track record of doing such things. Waited forever for the 226E which didn't come so settled for 10k to kukatpally where I transferred to 113 bus Walked from the bus stop at Gangaram and got a ride for about 2 stretches of road to Aparna I took an auto at 5am to kayaking after getting eaten alive by mosquitoes while waiting for an auto at the main gate. Kayaking was well organized for a 6:30 am meetup granted we didn’t go in the park until past 7am but the organizers had a kayak 101 on how to use the paddle and safety measures. Everyone got to go at least once and I opted to go twice an was soaked by the end of it. Met some awesome people and had a blast in the water despite the level of dirtiness the lake has. After kayaking I went to Chutney with Sh and her friend this time enjoying a masala dosa before she dropped me at the bus stop to Banjara Hills.  By the time I got to Banjara my khakis were dry for the most part but it looked like I wet my pants. I stopped by the girls place before walking to GVK for the single ladies club which didn’t happen since the one person who RSVP didn’t show up due to what I just saw moments ago to a family emergency. Good thing I only waited 30 minutes before heading back to Aparna. The bus ride felt like it took forever and was packed by the time I got back to Gangaram so I was thankful I had a seat when I got on at GVK.
