I have been anemic for years. If you do not know what Anemia is, it is where your blood lacks healthy blood cells or hemoglobin. I was always cold and losing weight and very very tired all of the time. I did not know what was going on. I was admitted into the hospital last September to have a blood transfusion. When I arrived at the hospital, my hemoglobin count was six. In females it should be at least twelve. I was so scared I was not sure what to expect. The blood transfusion was painless and a success. Now I have to take two iron tablets a day. I am okay with that.
