There is just something extremely liberating about taking a walk outdoors. The benefits to such an activity are great, both when one considers both the physical health and the mental health of such of an activity. Here are some of the key benefits to take the walk.
Let us start with the obvious one, and that is the ability to lose weight, and remain healthy. A nice, fifteen minute walks, at least four times a week, can go a long way with allowing you to become healthy, and to stay healthy.
Walking can allow us to clear our thoughts. There is just something about being out in nature, that is liberating, and it personally helps me clear my thoughts.
As far as cost goes, it is a free way to exercise. There is no equipment, no costly gym membership, nothing out of your pocket. All you need is your body, a pair of walking shoes, and a place to walk. It is just that simple.
Also, if you have a place you need to go that is in walking distance, you can walk, and save a great deal of money on gas.
Walking is a healthy and fun way to exercise. I’m counting down the days to spring, with the snow melting, so a regular walking schedule can be resumed.
