Bengaluru is no more the 'cool city' of India. The city was always known for its pleasant weather. But with time, the picture has changed altogether. When all the major parts of the country are reeling under intense heat wave and water scarcity, Bengaluru is also experiencing severe heat this summer.  The city recorded a maximum temperature of 39.2 degree on Sunday, the highest recorded temperature in the city in the month of April since 1931 and the trend is likely to continue. The matter is concerning to the environment activists.
