Pregnancy could be scared for women and men who have not been ready for having kids. No matter you are pregnant or not eventually, when you have some symptoms that get you worried, like overdue period, you become anxious and need something that calm you down and help you relax.
Here are some verses from bible related to pregnancy, no matter if you are a Christian or not, the confirmative words from God would help you relieved and strengthen you inside.
Women, pregnancy and children
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. (Psalm 127: 3)
For this child I have prayed and You have granted me my request. (Samuel 1:27)
Like arrows in the hands of warriors are sons born in one’s youth. (Psalm 127: 4)
For you created my innermost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. (Psalm 139: 13)
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know full well. (Psalm 139: 14)
My frame was not hidden from you, when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depth of earth, (Psalm 139: 15)
your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139: 16)
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: (Proverbs 31: 28)
A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; But as soon as she has given birth, she no longer remembers the anguish, For joy that a child has been born into the world. (John 16: 21)
Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5)
I know you may be still worried after reading those verses praising the wonderfulness of pregnancy, here are some verses for empowering you.
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer griefs in all kinds of trails. (1 Peter 1:6)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4: 6)
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14: 27)
The kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17: 21)
God has poured out his love into our hearts. (Romans 5:5)
Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God. (Job 37: 14)
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4: 19)
For God did not give us the spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self control. (II Timothy 1:7)
I sought the Lord and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. (Psalm 43:4)
Commit your way to the Lord. Trust in Him, and He will help you. (Psalm 37: 5)
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act. (Psalm 37: 7)
