bitLanders should be Fun and Rewarding

Posted on at

If you are a new or seasoned member of the site who is feeling down or demotivated when bitLanding, then you are lucky to find this post. This post aims to reinvigorate the reason you had when you joined and to motivate you to have fun and continue using the site as a responsible and valued member.

A legitimate site that pays –

Let us start by remembering that bitLanders is a social media site that pays through redeeming rewards. Yes folks! You read that right. A lot of members are probably attracted to join because of the site’s reward system – and this reward can be redeemed in the form of monetary value.

Now there are a lot of bogus sites floating around the internet that scammed its members. But, bitLanders is not one of them. Yours truly can attest to the legitimacy of the site as I have been paid twice – two cash out requests have been processed successfully within a reasonable timeframe. Naturally, I am not alone in claiming that bitLanders do pay – numerous members have redeemed and was paid as well.

The site is home to thousands of members and many more are joining every day. These so-called newbies are surely excited to be part of this wonderful community – the cleverly designed layout; the different mediums of sharing (videos, blogs, microblogs, photos); and to interact with other lively members.

Not all will stay –

Of course, just like anything else in the world, there would always be a downside. There is a sad reality that sooner or later, the excitement of interacting or using the site will die down. Some members (either new or old) will become disoriented and inactive. There are a couple of possible reasons why they chose to leave. There are those who will cite personal reasons or that they suddenly became busy with their offline lives. This is quite understandable as these are circumstances beyond one's control.

However, what about those members who left simply because the type of financial freedom they expected did not materialize? Then there are those trivial reasons like growing weary of low buzz score. There are a few newbies who might be overwhelmed by the hard-to-maintain daily activities yet their rewards or daily earnings are nowhere near or as high as those members in the leaderboard. Some new members may even get confused on how come, shady and sneaky spamming members never gets detected or reprimanded.

Again, there might be plenty of reasons but the ones listed directly above are just some of possible reasons why newbies (even seasoned members) becomes inactive and chooses to leave. Luckily, this post will help you realize something important. As mentioned on the first paragraph of this post, this post will assist you in determining different aspects of the site that you have yet to discover. This post will help you renew that purpose when you first joined – the intention that you may have forgotten which is why you feel down and discouraged.

It is NOT a job!

bitLanders is not a job and the site never claims to be one. If you joined thinking that it can be your sole and stable source of income for daily expenditures, then you probably joined for the wrong reason. The site never claims that it is an occupation and being a member never follows that you are an employee and is entitled for compensation. The site’s reward system is apparently NOT intended to be one’s primary income generator. It simply rewards members for their activities, completed quests, accomplished tasks, etc… The rewards can be used in the site’s shop to purchase items in personalizing one’s account or avatar. In the financial sense, the monetary equivalent of the rewards is not sufficient enough to sustain daily livelihood (3 meals a day, electricity or other utility bills, etc…)

Here is the link to the site’s shop: http://www.bitlanders.com/shop (if you have time, visit it and look at all the wonderful goodies the site offers its members)

Here is also a screenshot of how the site defines itself. The screenshot is from the site’s FAQ section and showcased here for reference. (For the newbies, it is highly advisable to visit FAQ section as it contains useful information and guidelines of how things work in the site)

Incorrect Notion Follows Serious Implications

Basically, the previous section is trying to make you realize that incorrect assumption may lead to drastic implications. This seemingly complex statement is best explained by the following situations.

1. You are in constant pressure

This is the same pressure experienced by employees of an organization wherein there is fear of punishment or sanction in failure to complete a given role or assignments.

If you treat being a member of bitLanders as a type of work, then you are pressured to attain a high buzz score (obviously, a high buzz score equates to more rewards). On top of this, you also set certain personal goals  just to maintain your activities – utmost of 30 microblogs a day, a video, a photo, etc…

2. Putting earnings in budget computation

There is nothing wrong to include bitLanders earnings to augment your budget. However, the problem arises if it is your only source of budget. If the site implement changes related to its earnings, then it might severely affect your projected income and planned expenses.

A good example would be the recently updated payment scheme. Bitcoin is out of the picture, and if you don’t have Paypal or Payza, and you are planning to cash out soon, then you may want to postpone that until you setup a Paypal or Payza account.

Another thing worth remembering is that buzz score and rewards are never constant – it fluctuates. Below is a screenshot explaining why this happen

The Purpose of this Post –

Being stressed is generally not fun. With the given explanations above, you are probably stressing yourself if you consider bitLanders as a job.

If you look at the photo directly above, you’ll see two smiling avatars of possibly different ethnicity. With this, it can be assumed that the site is conceptualized for the members from different parts of the globe to have fun and interact.

The sooner you realize this, the better chances that you will have a great time in the site. No more spamming with quotes taken from different sites on the internet. Given that two or three quotes is not spamming, but 30 each day??? This might be the reason why the site recently updated its FAQs and TOS (Terms of Service)

As can be seen from the above photo, the site encourages videos and photos of your own. In fact, before you upload a video, there is a “Note” there reminding the member that the video should not violate or infringe on any type of copyrights.

Here are two of my uploaded videos and hopefully, it will serve as a good reference or example of what is considered as a personal video .

Remember have fun and interact. The best way to do this is by putting your own personal thoughts on microblogs (as well as videos and photos that you have your personally taken). It will generate conversation or interaction with other members. If done correctly, you’ll find your stay more rewarding in both fun factor and financial aspect.
