This was an event I was invited by one of Facebook friends to go to.  Some photography enthusiasts organized an event where hobbyists, pro and/or amateur photographers and models come together for learning and fun.

This was held last 2012.  It was a learning experience and there were lots of people who came and participated in that said event.  No registration fee needed so I took advantage of it.

The photographers were divided in groups.  Those who already belong in a certain photography club or group were grouped as one and assigned their models to shoot.  Others were grouped to those who have no affiliations and assigned their models too.

A competition was held sponsored by some business here in the city.  The organizers asked the photographers to send their best photo taken from that event.

I hope this year they will organize another event like that because I want to go again.
