I was trying to come up with catchy title for this but just put words that came to mind. I have to write this while it's still fresh on my mind.
We just saw Fast and Furious 7 today. The movie lived up to the hype. The movie was fast paced and furious indeed. It was packed with action. I love the fight scenes between Dwayne Johnson/Jason Statham, Vin Diesel/Jason Statham and Paul Walker/Tony Jaa (Ong Bak). What I like the most was the fight scene between Michelle Rodriguez and the prince's guards in Abu Dhabi. I also like the gun fights and the explosions and the car races/fights/chase of course.
The dialogue was nicely written. I like the humor and the fun of it. It was delivered well especially those of Tyrese Gibson. Also, I find it dramatic and full of emotions how the dialogue relates to the death of Paul Walker. The way it was said especially those of Vin Diesel's hits home. The words seem to have a deeper meaning made exponentially so with the fact of Paul Walker's death in mind.
There was one scene where they were all at the beach, with Paul Walker and his family playing not far away where the others were seated, enjoying the happy family scene. It was really ironic to watch that and at the same time profound. Life is fleeting and moments are more so. If only we can stay on those good and happy moments forever.
I think this is one of those movies that everyone wants to be in. The cast showed familiar faces like Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou , Bow Wow, Lucas Black, etc.
Although some were overly done (car jump at Etihad Towers) and some were predictable, those were minimal and negligible. This is one of the movies I am including in my fave list.
It was indeed FOR PAUL.
