BLOG #163: Black Saturday's Golden Sun

Posted on at

It's summer and yet it's raining.  Summer rain.  Someone said that your attitude can be determined on how you deal with the rain.  For me, rains during summer is an opportunity to chase the sun.

The best time to capture a good sunset is after an afternoon's drizzle or shower.  Why?  Because it brings out those interesting colors and different cloud formations.  Sometimes you even have those dramatic colors brought out by the rain - sun hitting the water droplets in the sky giving out those rainbow colors.

Last weekend's sun was gold and yellow in hue.  Although it was generally cloudy and black sky, The sun still pervaded through, shining that strong rays of light upon the mountains, albeit quick to my delight.

These photos were taken at SM City Baguio and posted here straight out of the camera.  I only put my watermark.  Every sunset is different.  I hope I can capture them all.
