Vertically challenged is a political term for people who are small - in short, short.

I just learned that today is National Short Girl Appreciation Day.  I read that here.  So to all short, petite, small, pixie, etc., we appreciated you.  You are beautifully and wonderfully made.  We are all equal in the sight of God be it small, tall, fat, thin, boy, girl, gay, young, old.

I wonder though how you would qualify someone as short?  If there is even a qualification.  How would say someone is short?

I haven't read much about this National Short Girl Appreciation Day.  I just read about it but unclear about the origin of this or how did this came about.

If someone knew, maybe you can write a blog about it and let us know.
