Apparently some up-class bistro in Florida banned ketchup from their restaurant. Scroll down to the comments, they're hilarious.
While I love ketchup and don't want some food snob telling me how to eat my food, I do agree that as a private business it is their right to not serve ketchup, and then suffer the financial consequences of not accommodating the users and losing business on it. I won't go there, not only because french fries are pointless without ketchup, hot sauce, BBQ sauce (I doubt they'd offer the hot sauce or BBQ), but because I don't want someone telling me how to eat my food. I'm a picky eater, I have been all my life. So many flavors and textures just don't work for me. A chef prepares for their taste buds, not the customers.
I don't care if you think the dish is ruined without the onion garnish, I hate onions and will not eat it with onions.
I don't care if medium well/well done "ruins the meat," I don't like the taste of blood and anything less than medium well makes my nose feel weird.
I don't care if this is the best tasting chicken in the world, I don't like chicken, period.
Where was I? Oh yeah. Whatever, it's his business. He want's to ban ketchup, well don't expect me to be coming in any time soon. Then again, I don't live in that area so I wouldn't be going there anyways, ketchup or no. This was going to be a google plus post, but then I just started rambling. Well this has been Pokematic signing off and bu-bye.
