Before I have submitted "Why I love PixTeller" it was over a week that I have not submitted any blog post. In the past week, there were so many things that distracted me from blogging in Bitlanders.
In fact, I was supposed to submit my blog why I love PixTeller a week ago. Just two days after submitting "Turn Your Dreams Into Reality- Create Smaller Goals".
However, our Trip To Lambunao took it's toll on me physically. Compounded by the almost unbearable summer heat, I felt so drained every day that, instead of spending some time every night to compose my blog, I often fell asleep.
Aside from my lowered physical condition, there were other things that distracted me from making my posts.

I admit I'm not good at managing my time in the first place. However, it got worse with my weakened physical condition. I have specific hours set for composing my blog but for the past week, I was not able to follow them.
My Son was Hospitalized

I have posted this photo a week ago. That is my son with the IV tubes. In case you were wondering what happened, at least one of his upper molar inflamed. Last Tuesday, he complained that his tooth was aching. That night I gave him a dose of Ponstan syrup.
About two or three in the morning the next day, he complained that his tooth is aching again. I got an ice and covered it with a shirt and dubbed it on the affected area. He fell asleep again.

In the morning, however, his face starts to show signs of inflammation. By noon the inflammation has grown up to below his left eyelid.
When the pediatrician saw his face, she immediately commented that he needs to be confined right away. The infection is within the Danger Triangle zone of the face.
The danger triangle of the face consists of the area from the corners of the mouth to the bridge of the nose, including the nose and maxilla. Due to the special nature of the blood supply to the human nose and surrounding area, it is possible, albeit extremely unlikely, for retrograde infections from the nasal area to spread to the brain, causing cavernous sinus thrombosis, meningitis or brain abscess.

One dangerous possibility, the pediatrician explains, is once the infection is within the Danger Triangle, the abscess could creep into the child's brain. The child will just fall asleep and never wake up.
Without having any second thought I agreed with the pediatrician and had our son admitted. With her help, we were able to get a room without waiting. The hospital was quite full that day.
The next day, the swelling on our son's face started to get smaller. He drank his milk from a glass with a straw. His swelling face could not stop him from eating though. A good sign actually.

Unstable Internet Connection
During those days, I thought I could finish up my post and submit it. However, the Wi-Fi signal in that room was very weak. There was only one Wi-Fi router in that wing covering about twenty rooms. The mobile data did help either.
I was able to log in though. However, there was a day that I wasn't able to complete the daily tasks of watching videos and reading blogs.
My Bitlanders Revenue Dropped
As a result, I lost the momentum that I have built up in Bitlanders. I was already earning about $2.50 a day. But my daily revenue dropped to $1.70 yesterday.

Moving Forward
I have to deal with these distractions and I have to cope up with the lost time and income. I am aiming for the Tiara which will be available on the 12th of June. I need at least $43.00 to buy 500 gems. Currently, I only have $13.44. This means I need to earn at least $4.57 in the next eight days. Or else, I have to invest some cash…

Post at least 5 blogs this week.
Before my Trip to Lambunao, I was able to submit 4 blogs in a week. This week, I aim to submit at least 5 blog posts. Hopefully, it will boost my daily Buzz points and start earning at least $3.00 a day. If I could submit 6 or 7, the better.

Dealing with the distractions
Games
My biggest distraction these days is the one game that I installed on my phone. The Realm Defense. I admit I got hooked on this game again. I uninstalled it once. But the recent updates made the game more challenging. And there is a daily quest aside from the regular campaign.
I still need to play sometime though. But I need to limit the number of minutes I will play with it.

Manage My Time
During daytime, I have to spend some time with my kids and take care of other jobs to augment my income. Spending time with my kids is a welcome distraction. I don't want to sacrifice my time with them to earn money. I have to work around this one.
This means I have to compose my blogs when they are asleep.

Stay Focused
I admit I have a tendency to jump from one task to another. In order for me to manage my time effectively, I have to focus on one task at a time.
