Initially it was thought to be a rumour but later on a Zurich police spokesman confirmed that they have received a bomb threat on Friday at the ongoing FIFA elective congress in Zurich. However, no further comment was made. A German news outlet also reported the news stating that the bomb threat was received shortly after 11am. Local journalists were forced to leave their places in FIFA Congress hall. Swiss police are reported to have been investigating the anonymous bomb threat.
