IFAW is working to move about 40 orphaned dogs from dreadful conditions in Bosnia to Germany, and you can follow their journey.
The dogs have been living in a dilapidated shelter with poor housing and no bedding in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Now, that shelter is being closed and the dogs must be moved. Their journey will take them to Streunerglück e.V. in Germany, which has an amazing record of adopting dogs from many circumstances. The staff at Streunerglück will coordinate the dogs' fostering and adoption.
That is, once they arrive. We'll be chronicling the months-long journey as it happens. Watch for updates and wish them luck. They've got a long road ahead.
