This is going to be a regular weekly feature starting this week.

Maybe you're in film school and your graduation is just around the corner.  What are you going to do to get the ball running on your career? You need to be proactive in this business! Nobody's going to come running and tell you how great you are and give you a three picture deal.

You've written a couple of short screenplays and maybe even completed a feature script.  Have you considered producing your own work? You should!  What's going to be on your resume?

You need more than what you've completed in school.  I'm a senior at Academy of art University out of San Francisco California.  While I have gotten a top notch education I made sure that I worked on as many films as possible.   It's a must to prepare yourself for the future of the entertainment industry.

In just about every area of the country there's opportunities to get involved in making films.  So jump on them!
