I am writing my blogs on cricket these days because of my interest in cricket. I only write on those matches which I enjoyed. In this my blog I will write about the brilliant run chase by black storm. West Indies is known as black storm in cricket because in earlier age of cricket in 1970 to 1990, black storm was the king of cricket. This team is called black storm because the colors of their players are black and their height are also tall. These players play the match like black storm, when the black storm comes, it will destroy everything in his way. West Indies team also does like this when any team comes to his way.

Let’s come to the point. The T-20 cricket match was played on 28 March in Mirpur, Bangladesh. This was very important match for both teams because which team will lose this he will go back to home. Toss was won by the Australian captain George Bailey and he took the decision for batting first. Two good openers from Australian side were on the crease for batting. They were looking in hurry and trying to hit the every ball to the boundary. Their total team fails to do that except Maxwell. Maxwell played the really good inning for his team. But he was also in hurry and loses his wicket quickly. He should be stay at the crease and hit the boundaries on the loose ball but he could not do.   He faces only 22 balls for his brilliant knock of 45. But Australia put the good total on the board of 178. I think this was not enough for the West Indian side.

Now the two batsman of black storm were on the crease to chase the target which was given by the Australia. Big man Chris Gayle was also ready to demolish the Australian bowling line up. Both openers play the first four over’s with patience and did not play any rough shot. But after first four over’s they start to increase their run rate and goes for 61 runs in first 6 over’s with loss only one wicket. When he West Indies score was 101 in first 12 over’s they lose their second wicket of Chris Gayle. He was playing the tremendous shots on all sides of the ground. He scores 53 runs from just 35 balls. He hit 6 fours and two sixes for his brilliant knock.

In the last 3 over’s west Indies team were needed about 42 runs and their captain was on the crease. He is the great timer of the ball and in this match he exactly did that which his team need from him. At one stage West Indies need the twelve runs from the last over. The first two balls were dots now they need 12 runs from 4 balls. Then Darren Sammy hit the two consecutive sixes and earns the victory.  Darren Sammy play the knock of 34 runs from just 13 balls. He hit the 2 fours and 3 sixes in is innings. We cannot forget the innings of bravo he also play the major rule for the victory of his team. He scores 27 runs from just 12 balls by hitting two sixes and two fours.

At the end of match, all the West Indian team was dancing with joy. Chris Gayle was so excited and the brave was also. Hi through his gloves to the crowd. I am also the big fan of West Indian team.
