When I think of bubble wrap I instantly remember the times when I threw aside the much desired product I bought online so I could enjoy the pleasure of popping the bubbles on the package in which it arrived. I am not the only one who is enchanted by this product. There are people who swear by Bubble wrap’s ability to relieve stress and the give immense satisfaction when they pop the bubbles. Children, crafters and artists would tell you how it has become an amazing tool for their painting or craft projects. Designers  use the humble bubble wrap to fashion wardrobes of the divas of the world.

Bubble wrap is many thing to many people. I cannot imagine a world without bubble wrap and if I dare to,  all I can think of is broken china, damaged works of art and useless electronic goods. The number of times I have packed and moved from one city to another or one home to another would have been disasters without bubble wrap.

Completions have been won and Guinness world records have been created with this humble packing material. It is impossible to imagine that a failed product would go on to become the most useful and beloved product in history of mankind. Do not get me wrong, if I wax eloquently about bubble wrap, there is even a 'Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day', which is usually celebrated on the last Monday of January. I hope you are now absolutely convinced about the need to know more about Bubble wrap.

Though this blog talks extensively about how the usefulness of bubble wrap is it is important to reduce, recycle and reuse the product over and over again to save our planet. Use bubble wrap as a covering for plants to protect them from frost, or cover your dog house with it, to lock in the heat, but avoid throwing it into the bin.
