The Cadillac XTS is the latest member of American car maker General Motors marque “Cadillac” brand. The XTS was preceded by the highly successful Cadillac STS and Cadillac DTS and the design is based on GM’s Epsilon II platform. The car was first unveiled to the general public at the North American International Auto Show held in Detroit in year 2010. Mass production started at GM’s Oshawa Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada about 6 months back. The base price of the car in the United States is $46,000 and this can go up further to $65,000 for premium versions fitted with luxury accessories. The XTS is available in colors like silver white, chrome red and metallic black.
