You don't like it when people disagree for no apparent reason. Acting as a peacemaker is one path to smoothing over ruffled feathers, but resolution may seem easier than it actually is. You could have the very best of intentions today, but someone might misconstrue your actions and think you're trying to control them. Rather than changing anyone else's behavior, shift your own attitude instead. Let people know how you feel and then back away to give them time to process their reactions in peace
