CANTEEN STORES DEPARTMENT PAKISTAN
Canteen Stores Department ('CSD') is a chain of retail stores run by the Pakistani Ministry of Defence, and has a presence in all major military Cantonments operated by the Paksitan Armed Forces. CSD sells a wide variety of products like household provisions, kitchen appliances, cars, sports equipment, computers, toiletries and textiles items exclusively for active and retired members of the Armed Forces. Generally, these goods are procured by CSD in bulk, and sold at concessional rates, compared with retail prices.

History
Canteen stores department was came into existance in 1913 which will became CSD Goverment of India in 1942.In 1947 after the seperation of Indo-Pak CSD divided (not equally) between Pakistan and India .so, In 1947 CSD Pakistan came into being.

CSD is government oriented chain of stores in pakistan made especially for armed forces serving and retired peoples. Complete tax exemption body and also receive grants in bugets.CSD is basically a full-fledged organization work under our ministry of Defence and it is working as a wholesaler and retailer both at a same time.It is most high status retail store chain the country and serving the nation.

CSD divided into 6 zones and in each zone there are number of CSD outlets .Six Zones included
- Rawalpindi Zone
- Lahore Zone
- Peshawar Zone
- Karachi Zone
- Multan Zone
- Quetta Zone
In rawalpindi zone there are 36 CSD outlets and two main branches.In Lahore Zone there are 22 ,In Peshawar zone18 , In Karachi zone 19 , while in Multan there number are slightly lower 15 and In quetta there are only 11 outlets.

Customer making purchase more than 2000 Rs at one time then he is already eligiable for this loyalty card. Procedure for this card is easy .Fill simple application form and attached NIC photocopy and receipt of shopping .
