Cardi B. has the personality that we all love to love. She was born Belcalis Almanzar and has become one of the hardest working women in show business. In the past two years, she has done nothing but work, work, and oh yeah work. Every ounce of the young performer's fame has been earned with the blood sweat and tears she has shed to get to where she is today.

Cardi B. will be the first to tell you she got her start on the stripper pole, dancing for cash. Her first-night working she made $300, and with a booty like hers do we need to question how? Stripping for cardi was about the money. She spent her time stacking her cash and making contacts that even raised the eyebrows of certain members of the cast of Love & Hip Hop New York. This lead to her regular role on the hit reality series in 2015- 2017. Before hanging up her stripper thong, Cardi B began her ascent into Social Media fame. Her sassy, independent attitude attracted a large social media following of three thousand strip club regulars, bartenders and people who just thought she was cute. The Bronx-born beauty didn't shy away from controversy she is known for openly discussing sex, men, and really anything she may have on her mind. Facebook, Vine, Instagram and Twitter, she has gone viral on all.
Music Hustle
Cardi b made her musical debut on the single "Boom Boom" remix with hit artist Shaggy in November 2015. By December, she had released her first video "Cheap Ass Weave". Within a year she had released her very first full-length mixtape, Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol 1. When her second mixtape Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 2 was released in February 2017, her huge internet following lead to a contract with Atlantic Records. Since the release of her hit single " Bodack Yellow", Cardi has made an appearance on several hit songs currently, five of the top ten songs on the Billboard charts have her name on them!
Love and Personal Life
In the age of social media, personal lives barely exist. This was recently demonstrated by the public controversy involving personal matters in the young artist's life. Her fiance, Offset, had been accused of not only sleeping with but impregnating another Instagram famous model. Although there was truth to the rumors, Cardi b handled the situation with style announcing to the world that like it or not, she was standing by her man.

Cardi B has proved to us that she is not a one-hit wonder, and has left hints that this is just a start of what we have to look forward to from her this year. If the last 15 days are only the start, I am going to keep my eyes glued for the rest of the year.
