I have never been much of a television watcher. I once had a job where I traveled all over the country, and stayed for weeks or months in each location I was sent. I stayed in motels, and I honestly do not recall EVER turning on the television. I read and I wrote and I watched and talked to people, and I even listened to the radio, but I did not watch TV. I wasn't opposed; I just did not have the habit.
Fast forward thirty years. Bring on the Internet, and the ability to watch shows you've selected, one after the other, if you desire, sans commercials. That's where I am today ... catching up.
Tonight I am writing on my computer and watching Castle on my husband's computer, next to me (he is in the living room watching Blue Bloods and listening to a college basketball game).
Like a virgin on her wedding night, I must confess, I am glad I waited! I can't imagine a better way to watch television than this!
