Cellphone is a beneficial gadget in this modern time. However, this gadget is also widely used to several crimes in the country. The banks have been prohibiting the cellphone use inside their premises but there’s no law to punish those fail to follow the banks’ policy. Recently a law was approved in the Philippines to disallow the use of the gadget inside the bank and it is called cellphone in banks prohibition of 2014 or House Bill 2014. This will ensure security of the bank, the workers and most especially the customers.

This is a good law to protect the clients. Anyone who is caught will be fined and jailed in accordance with the law. The law also prohibits the use of other gadgets like laptop, radio equipments and any communication transmitters inside the bank. Do you also have this law in your country?
