Conceptual Framework

            The conceptual framework of this study is shown in figure 1. The input Frame consists of the necessary inputs for the conduct of the study. These were the respondents/ participants of the study, the lesson plans for the control and experimental group and also the pretest and the posttest that served as the measurement of the students’ achievement and learning before and after the conduct of the study.

            The process frame includes all the activities in the study. From the introduction, to the content validation, through experimentation and to the analysis of data, and up to the conclusion and summary of the study. The result of the pretest and posttest will be treated and compared to see if the teaching strategy had produced an increased in knowledge and learning.

            The output frame contains the study. It also has the evaluation of the effectiveness of using video-assisted instruction in teaching selected topics in Geometry and also the recommendation of the researcher.
