It had been rumored by Latino-Review and Variety has confirmed that Boardwalk Empire's Charlie Cox will be dawning the signature red outfit in Marvel's upcoming Daredevil show which will stream on Netflix. Honestly, I am not very familiar with the actor but he seems to have a fairly impressive resumé. Maybe this will be his breakout role.
The Daredevil series just just undergone another massive shake up with Drew Goddard leaving as showrunner of the project and being replaced by Spartacus's former showrunner Steven S. DeKnight.
In the past Marvel has given me no reason not to trust them, especially when it comes to casting (Robert Downey Jr, Clark Gregg, Chris Evans, Ming-Na Wen, etc.) so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Personally, I have no problem with this casting and I am eagerly looking forward to this show as well as Marvel's other projects.
