First hexa-core device from a local brand?
The surprises keep on coming from Cherry Mobile – apparently the local brand isn’t content in having brand new, price-busting smartphones, it’s also now dabbling in introducing hexa-core smartphones in the lower-end of the spectrum. The Flare S4 Lite is the first ever hexa-core smartphone to be announced by the company, sporting a 5-inch HD IPS display, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera.
While Cherry Mobile didn’t mention what kind of hexa-core processor they put into the Flare S4 Lite, it’s most probably the MT6591 from MediaTek. This particular processor is a 32-bit SoC that sports an ARM Mali-450 MP GPU.
The Flare S4 Lite is priced at Php 3,999.
