Ingredients
- 1 kilo chicken, sliced thinly
- 5 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 tablespoon curing powder
- 1 teaspoon annatto powder(atsuete)
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 knob garlic, minced
- 3 cups cooking oil
Instructions
- Thinly slice the chicken and pound using back of the knife until flat. Set aside
- Prepare the marinate ; put brown sugar in a bowl.
- Add annatto powder, minced garlic, curing powder, salt and pepper.
- Stir mixture until completely combine together.
- Add the sliced chicken, mix well until meats are fully covered with mixture
- Put the marinated chicken in a container and refrigerate for at least 1-2hours.
- Heat oil in a pan, fry chicken in low medium heat until tender.
- Serve hot with rice.
