Chicken With Sesame Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 pound chicken breast (one to two breasts)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • toasted sesame seeds, for garnish

For the sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons nerigoma (Or tahini)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
 
PROCEDURE:
  1. Mix the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Sprinkle the salt and pepper on to the chicken to season. Then slice the chicken breasts into bite size pieces for quick cooking.
  3. Mix the chicken with the sauce and marinate for about 30 minutes.
  4. When ready to cook, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Once hot, add the chicken and the sauce to the pan.
  5. Cook for about 5 minutes until the bottom of the chicken is nice and brown. Flip the chicken over and continue cooking for another 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Once cooked, remove from heat and serve immediately! For added flavor, sprinkle the chicken with some toasted sesame seeds!
