I am writing about Christmas traditions that I miss, I miss looking at lights with my sons and also I miss the tradition that I started with my kids to read books on Christmas Eve. Of course we read every night but on Christmas Eve we had special books that we read. Along with this tradition we watched a few Christmas shows too. We also got cookies and stuff together for Santa. My kids were not taught that he is real but we liked to pretend him.

I haven’t read to my kids in years. They are older now and well, they read on their own. We did read together until they were in middle school though. Now I hope to carry this tradition on to my grandson. He loves books though but is not as into them as my kids were.
