Cinedans whose WebTV hosts a trailer for the 2011 dance film festival has just released some exciting news relating to this years festival that we would like to share with our community.
Many of the film directors who have submitted to Models WebTV have contributed to Cinedans. It is an outstanding festival which attracts the best filmmakers, choreographers and dancers in the world.

Cinedans Moves To EYE
Cinedans is happy to inform you that the festival moves to the brand new EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam. It means we celebrate our 10th aniversary in this new architectural icon of the city. Our festival takes place in March 2013.
Artistic director Janine Dijmeijer: "The new Eye Film Institute is such an exciting new hotspot for Amsterdam and its filmlovers. It has all facilties it needs and offers space for (interactive) installations. Next to that, this location offers the festival the possibility to present dance film to a bigger film audience."
Thierry De Mey guest lecturer at Point taken meeting
On Wednesday 30 May there is meeting for choreographers and film makers who are interested in submitting a film plan for Point Taken 3.
The event runs all day and will include screenings of several short dance films, information about the Point Taken project and a lecture by Belgian composer and filmmaker Thierry De Mey.

Cinedans is very proud to tell you that Dutch Broadcaster NTR bought 15 dance films that were screened during last years festival. A few of them were submitted through the European IDILL network (International Dance Online Short Film Festival). |
