Citronella Grass

     If you are a gardener or simply just like me who wants to sit around the garden and tinker at the plants, it  is best to grow citronella grass in your area. Citronella grass is a perennial clumping grass which can be grown directly in the ground.

    Citronella grass is a natural mosquito repellent. No it's not the planted grass that repels the mosquitoes but the component within the grass---it's oil. Crushed the grass and it will  release a significant amount of it's oil.  Mosquitoes does not like the scent of it. But when I inhaled it it smells really good. 

     Goodbye commercial mosquito repellent. Make way for the all natural mosquito repellent. The citronella grass. Crushed the leaves and rubbed the oil on your skin, voila! instant mosquito repellent. For those who have skin allergies try to rubbed the crushed leaves on your inner forearm for a day if  there is no irritating reaction or redness, then it is safe.
