We were all excited about our trip to Makshpuri, a 9200 feet elevated mountain in the Nathiagali hills where one can reach by trekking either from Nathiagali track of Dunga Gali track. We had packed our bags and were ready to go. On the day of the trip we were all worried because the weather was cloudy and there was a chance that the trip might be cancelled. Luckily, the weather started clear after an hour and one of my friends called me to say that the trip was on.
I jumped out of bed and packed my water bottles and lunch boxes. I wore my trekking shoes and ran to my school I thought that the bus might be leaving. Luckily, I reach in time and jumped into the bus our journey towards Makshpuri top had started and it would take us about two hours to reach Dunga Gali from where our journey on foot would commence.
During the bus ride, we kept on listening on the tape recorder while the students clap in unison to encourage our friend who was dancing. We reach the foot of the mountain in the anticipated time of two hours and then we started our journey on foot towards the mountain top. My friend and class fellow had been to the top before this trip, and he knew the way. Our teacher advised him to be careful but he ran towards the stream the fell into it. And we laughed at him and he laughed with us, but he looked injured even though he did not show the pain.
He reached to the top and had some slide down the snowy slopes. He stayed for an hour is so at the top and had our lunch there. After that we started playing around, snowball at each other and took photographs. When we were playing my friend slipped down from the where he gets some injuries.
After it we were so tired when we reached at the bottom of the hill where we informed our teacher about the situation and the teacher believed us. We took my friend to medical clinic and the doctor applied a bandage so my friend saved by our quick and apt thinking.
