Hello everyone! Glad to have written another blog! Recently, I found a way to squeeze in writing blogs into my busy and lazy schedule. (Sometimes I'm busy being lazy. Haha!) Instead of listening to music while on the road, I make use of the time to write. It makes me busy and diverts my mind from looking at the time. It is very advantageous for me because it has lesser battery consumption and makes me productive and my time worthwhile. As they said, time is gold.

Everyone must be all over curious about what this blog is all about. Am I wrong or not? Or maybe just by looking at the title it had already given you the idea of what this blog contains.
You're right if you think this is a post to say my thanks to everyone and for bitLanders, of course. It’s a bitLanders appreciation blog to be exact.
If you're puzzled about the word "confetti" on my title, it just means "many" in my own dictionary. So "confetti thanks" translates to "many thanks." Please do not be confused.

Why am I writing an appreciation blog so suddenly, you may ask? Well, I realized I have been writing blogs of different topics yet I still haven’t expressed my thanks to this wonderful site. Moreover, I just celebrated my birthday two weeks ago (Yay pisces!) so I decided to make one now. It may also serve as my birthday treat for everyone too!

A throwback on my bitLanders profile.
I joined bitLanders last November 1, 2014.(It was All Saints' Day and I probably had nothing much to do that afternoon.) I am a referral of my brother, although he no longer uses his account since he deactivated his Facebook account which he uses to access bitLanders.
Joining bitLanders is very easy. I also make use of my Facebook account to log in. If you still don’t have an account, go sign up now and join us in this fun community!
I had been already a member of a social blogging site too which pays its users for writing. Let’s call the site, Bubble Pop. (Pretty reminds me of Hyuna's song Bubble Pop!) Unfortunately, Bubble Pop wasn't able to endure the tempest and so it popped. Along with its downfall are all my entries popped up like a bubble, and just like that, it was all gone. Evaporating from the cyber universe. So I am thankful that I was introduced to bitLanders. I also realized that this saying is really true, "when one door closes, another opens."
What I Love About bitLanders

bitLanders can be a little bit overwhelming at first but after taking a tour around and knowing how it works, I started liking it. The interface looks attractive and easy to navigate. You could also dress your avatar which is so cute and amusing for me!
Unlike other sites that only lets you write, bitLanders lets you do other things like uploading videos and photos. bitLanders is also mobile friendly which make it more accessible and convenient for me because I no longer have to turn on my laptop to do the daily task and open the treasure box everyday—and I find it easier to interact with my bitLanders friends through the mobile application.

Screenshot was done three months ago. I'm now at the bottom of the leaderboard. Lol.
There’s also the leaderboard where we can see the top earners of the day. I see it as a good place for beginners to look for the members who would most likely lend you a hand to guide you further about the site. Members are ranked everyday but honestly, I don’t consider the leaderboard as a way of competition. However, I must admit being on the leaderboard makes my stay in bitLanders satisfying, fun and rewarding. It keeps me motivated too.
Why I Love bitLanders

If only you would try to make use of bitLanders’ special features, I’m sure you will be very much interested on this site. Aside from socializing, you can submit original contents which will be rated and reward you with more BitMiles in return. BitMiles can be used for buying more gems for content submission and purchasing items for your avatar. It can also be donated to charities or converted into USD through Paypal and Payza. I’ve been on this site for over two years already and it was only last year that I’ve tried my luck on submitting contents. I’d say, it changed the way I look at bitLanders. I was on the verge of giving up bitLanders that time but thanks to some friends who pushed me to try submitting blogs. After a year, Katsanslimites is still on bitLanders and still loving it.
Another thing I love about this site is the variety of media you can upload. You can write a blog, upload photos as a gallery, upload videos, or simply post a short text with an option to attach a photo similar to a “tweet” on Twitter.
I Can Bring Out The Other Side Of Me

Your bitLanders account/profile is your own personal space. You can post anything you want as long as it complies or does not breach with the site’s rules. For me, bitLanders is where I could freely write about my fondness about anime and upload my screen recorded drawings.
I love bitLanders because I can be my truest self or express myself more, rather, on this site. I’m away from acquaintances which gives me a sense of freedom. I can write all about anything I want and upload to as many of my drawing videos without people judging me. Less judgement, the happier life. Just like what I’ve said earlier, submitting contents and staying on this site rewards you with BitMiles which can be converted into bucks too! Definitely a win-win for me!

Yes, it’s a graphic/pen tablet that I’ve been eyeing since last year. Thanks to my bitLanders rewards, I was able to save up and purchase this awesome tablet. Now I can practice drawing digitally at ease to my heart’s content! Probably someday when I look back into the past, I would always be reminded of this wonderful site that helped me take a step closer to my dream. It is with no doubt that bitLanders will always be a part of my drawing journey. (Hurrah!)

bitLanders has been one of the nicest and friendliest virtual community I’ve ever been so far. This is not a joke but a real experience, my dear reader. The site administrators are responsive and will help you with your queries. They are amiable and sometimes interact with the members too! I admire their humility and constant care for everyone.

Aside from the administrators, what makes this site wonderful to stay at is its people. Most of the members are friendly, approachable and willing to help others find their way throughout the site. I am glad of meeting members from different nationalities and meeting fellow Filipino members, of course. I am not very social in real life. (Actually considering myself introvert.) I don’t have a huge number of friends or people around me. So being on this site and interacting with people somehow makes me happy inside. I’m sorry if I have been a bit out of touch lately but I just like to say, THANK YOU! Thank you my fellow bitLanders members for accepting Katsanslimites! Thank you for tolerating my quirks and craziness. Thank you for making my online world colorful!

Nobody has asked this question yet but I, myself, had this question in my mind lately because of some personal issues. I'm sure you have noticed my slight hiatus. My motivation dropped and I am often distracted by my thoughts that writing a blog became so difficult. I feel restless and I could only get to write when I'm in the car because I rarely open my social media accounts when travelling. Honestly, my social media affects me so much lately and it gets in the way of my concentration every time. But even though I am struggling right now, I will not give up. I believe I will get over my problems someday and return to my usual self again.
This is not the end. Sadly, you still can’t say your goodbyes because Katsanslimites is choosing to stay. Why? You can go back a few paragraphs and you’ll know the reasons. I can’t give up something that let’s me socialize and helps me bring out my inner blogger and creativity. And I find it difficult to leave all the wonderful people I have met here.

For me, bitLanders is way better than those mainstream sites people mostly flock around. In fact, I’ve felt more comfort posting here than on those ultra popular social sites. I bet people would switch here if they knew how awesome bitLanders is! On the other hand, I feel nothing but pity for those who are underrating this site. May their minds open, because that’s when good things happen.
I would say it again, thanks a lot everyone! Once she's okay, Katsanslimites will try better to make a more vibrant journey because bitLanders is her virtual home!
