Chittagong Abahani on Friday secured the title of the first eight-team Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup football tournament in Chittagong MA Aziz Stadium smashing visiting East Bengal FC of India 3-1.

Kingfisher East Bengal’s Avinabo Bag netted maiden goal for his team at 11th minute.

At 47th minute, Abhani’s Elita equalled the score from a header cross by Mithun from the left.

The Abhani booter Elita put Bangladesh ahead at 53rd minute from an outstanding free kick from right side.

Later, Elita's cross from left lifted the difference to 3-1 foxing East Bengal’s keeper Dibyendu for the third time.

Around 40,000 football spectators charmed the booters in a cheerful manner.

On 27 October, Chittagong secured their final berth beating De Spin Ghar Bazan FC of Afghanistan 3-1 in the first semifinal in MA Aziz Stadium.
