"Handmade" is the slogan of Villa Leyva 5th International Film Festival, ÉCU’s new partner in Latin America. A festival that thinks about every detail to attract, collect, impact, generate reflection, dialogue and meeting points. It’s a festival that makes a difference for their careful planning, conservatorship, team, strong partnerships and faithful followers. An event in the industry consolidated as a space for project development and platform for conscious, resourceful, new and necessary film craft based on the narrative and in the careful image making rather than the budget. Villa de Leyva International film festival is a space for films with an identity, movies with feet on the ground. From design, curatorial, guests, academic e vents, social spaces and innovative interventions, this festival celebrates its first five years with many surprises. ÉCU in partnership with the International Festival of Villa de Leyva will be presenting “ÉCU on the Road.” ÉCU will be participating in the international showcase with a selection of films awarded in 2011.
