As far as i can remember i haven't introduce myself here as a person who loved books. Yeah, i kinda agree if you now think that i am a weird bookworm. Hahaha! I am fond of reading books since i was in 2nd year high school, i started to be curious in reading when those humid vampires dominate our world. Hahaha!
Anyways, from fictions i switched my desires in books which are self help, Inspirationals, Devotions and other Christian books. So if you saw me posting some quotes from Mitch Albom, CS Lewis that only means that i super love them and their books! And also in our World Literature course last sem, it inflienced me too much that i literally enjoyed classic books like Aenid of Virgil and Medea. Hihi
So much more about me being a bookworm, so i decided to have this post to share to you my perspective to Jarrid Wilson's book named Jesus Swagger. I will not recommend this as a general book to read (although it is such a great book!). But i giess not everyone can relate to it. Why? First thing first is because Jarrid is a bold Christian, if your faith is not that bold to make you stand firm, you might get stumble to this book. (But believe me, i love Jarrid so much and understand his purpose upon writting this book). Second is you might not understand some views or belief ( especially if you are not a Christian) i mean serving the Lord and having a vision given by Him is a tough one if you haven't experienced what transformation is. Finally, your perception about Christians might change.
I am not discouraging you to read this, actually i am encourging Christians to read this because it was such an eye opener! I am just worried that you might misinterpret us upon reading this book. It was such a strong book indeed! And i don't want people to be stumble in their faith. This is such a challenge!
But of course it is upon you if you wanted to read it. It taught me to love more than to hate people.
